It was another successful weekend for the Verwimp team. Both Jorinde, who rode a national PSG debut with the gelding Dispar Voulgo, and the students of Jorinde and Wim Verwimp have achieved good results.
After a competition break of four months, Jorinde and Dispar Voulgo (by Negro) won level 4 last Saturday with 67.9%. The following Sunday, Dispar Voulgo had his national Prix St. George debut where the combination immediately achieved second place with 67.7%. The gelding suffered with some tension due to his competition break, but he was amazing in the canter tour. “If we get a little more competition routine and can keep the relaxation in the trot, there is much more in it!” according to Jorinde.
More good results for the team
Jorinde’s students also did great last weekend. Emma Driesen and her horse Kalahari (v. Kopenick) won the junior team test. The combination achieved a second placement during the individual test.
Ruut Pasgang was also successfully with her two horses last weekend. She brought her horse Sandro to level 4 and gained an 8th place there. With her 5-year-old James, she participated in the young horse cycle and achieved a score of 72.3%.
For Diete Vos, student of Wim Verwimp, was last weekend all about her debut in the Prix St. George. She achieved a score of 66.1% and a 6th place.
