Top horse of Jorinde van Verwimp Kastar Hof Ter Zeedycke D’12 has been sold. The gelding came to Dressuurstal Verwimp at the age of five, where he and Jorinde achieved several successes. The combination will be missed in both the competition ring and of course at home. The gelding moves to a fantastic stable in Florida, where he will continue his dressage career.

First self-trained horse
Kastar Hof Ter Zeedycke D’12 (Game Boy D’10) came to Jorinde as a five-year-old jumping horse, where he was soon renamed Taki. For Jorinde, Taki was the first horse to train from scratch herself. Soon the click between Jorinde and Taki developed super so that the gelding developed into a real dressage talent. The combination has achieved enormous successes in the last four years with unconditional performance, making them frequencies above 70%.

Sweet horse in the stable
What made Taki even more special outside of his dressage talent was his unique character. Besides being very friendly in the stable, he also had a very cooperative character during the training. “He was definitely the sweetest horse in the stable, he really missed. What makes the loss a little less painful is that Taki lands very well in a stable in Florida. We enjoyed every second with him. And I am very grateful for that,” says Jorinde.
