Highlights from the 2024 Belgian Dressage Championships

Last week, the Belgian Championships took place at the beautiful location of Azelhof Lier, where Dressuurstal Verwimp was represented by Jorinde Verwimp and the students of Dressuurstal Verwimp. Nearly every competition featured a Team Verwimp combination. It was a busy championship, but we enjoyed the annual event and the achievements of our team!

Here are the highlights from the championship:

Diamant Cup Level N4.2

3rd place with a score of 69.1% for Jorinde Verwimp with Rubis Rose (s. Calibat)

7th place with a score of 68.1% for Kris Schepkens with Vinci (s. Vilancio)

 

Diamant Cup N4.3 – Consolation

1st place with a score of 70.1% for Jorinde Verwimp with No Surrender (s. Charmeur)

3rd place with a score of 67.3% for Ruut Pasgang with Virano (s. Vitalis)

 

Platina Cup Level 7 FEI Intermediaire B

3rd place with a score of 67.9% for Jorinde Verwimp with Newberry Z (s. Negro)

2nd place in the Kür with a score of 70.3% for Jorinde Verwimp with Newberry Z (s. Negro)

3rd place in the Kür with a score of 68.7% for Ruut Pasgang with James Pleasure (s. Desperado)

In the overall ranking, Jorinde Verwimp achieved a second place.

4th place in the Prix St. Georges with a score of 70.1% for Jorinde Verwimp with Vicomte de Reyves (s. Viscount)

7th place in the Prix St. Georges with a score of 68.9% for Laura Luyten with J2L Impressive Star (s. Charmeur)

18th place in the Prix St. Georges with a score of 67.8% for Ine Vandecappelle with Akilly (s. Antango)

3rd place in the Intermediaire I with a score of 70.9% for Eline Borrey de Conninck with Haressel (s. Uphill)

4th place in the Intermediaire I with a score of 70.1% for Jorinde Verwimp with Vicomte de Reyves (s. Viscount)

3rd place in the Kür with a score of 75.2% for Jorinde Verwimp with Vicomte de Reyves (s. Viscount)

In the overall ranking, Jorinde Verwimp achieved a third place and Eline Borrey de Conninck achieved a fourth place.

 

Level 5 Young Riders

6th place in the Individual Test with a score of 67.9% for Britt Gellens with Karnival Zee T (s. Eye Catcher)

11th place in the Individual Test with a score of 66.6% for Maïté Mouchard with Dare 2 Wear

 

Level 8 FEI Grand Prix Kür

3rd place with a score of 74.1% for Laura Luyten with J2L Lamborghini (s. Bravour B)

 

Level 3 Individual Test Pony

4th place with a score of 69.8% for Maline van Tulder with Lex (s. Le Matsjo)

In the overall ranking, Maline van Tulder achieved a fourth place.
