Strong performances for Wim Verwimp and Jedai de Massa at CDI-W Lyon
During the World Cup event CDI-W Lyon (30–31 October 2025), Wim Verwimp once again delivered a strong performance with the eleven-year-old gelding Jedai de Massa (Don Juan de Hus x Mina de la Font by Galopin de la Font), bred by Sylvain Massa and owned by Eon Jin Chin.
In the Grand Prix, the pair achieved a solid 69.109%, securing ninth place in a particularly strong field, which saw three Belgian combinations finish within the top ten.
A day later, Wim and Jedai competed in the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle, where they produced a beautiful and harmonious test to score 73.560%. This result earned them another top-ten finish, placing tenth among some of Europe’s most experienced World Cup riders.
With these results, the combination confirms their continued progress this season, following previous strong performances in Aachen, Rotterdam, and Wierzbna Bialy Las. Jedai de Massa, known for his expressive piaffe and passage, is showing increasing confidence at the highest level of international sport and continues to make notable progress in the canter work.
Many thanks to breeder Sylvain Massa for his trust in his breeding lines, and congratulations to owner Eon Jin Chin on these consistent World Cup-level results.
