Jorinde and Ruut participated in the Belgian Championship!

Last week, the Belgian Young Horses Championship took place in Gesves, and both Jorinde Verwimp and Ruut Pasgang participated.

Jorinde rode with the 5-year-old Nixon and the 4-year-old Tap Dancer.

Nixon secured the 6th position on the first day with 83.3% and finished 8th in the grand final yesterday! Tap Dancer attained the 10th position on the first day with 82% and again secured 10th place in Saturday’s small final!

Ruut rode with the 5-year-old Virano and the 7-year-old Limited Edition Begijnhoeve (Limit).

Virano obtained the 11th position on the first day with 80% and finished 6th in the small final. Limit qualified for the grand final on Sunday by securing the 2nd place in the small final. In the grand final, a personal record was achieved: 79.4% for quality and 68.5% for the test. With a total score of 73.9%, Ruut and Limit finished in 4th place! We are incredibly proud of the results achieved during the championship!

Jorinde and Nixon placed 4th in Flémalle during FEI 5-year-olds.

Last weekend, CDN Flémalle took place. Jorinde and her student Ruut Pasgang competed in the FEI 5-year-olds final. Jorinde rode the KWPN horse Nixon and achieved a respectable 4th place with a score of 80.400%. Ruut won the class with Virano (by Vitalis) with an excellent score of 81.800%.

Jorinde and Team Belgium finish fifth in the Nations Cup at CHIO Rotterdam

From 22 to 25 June, the prestigious CHIO Rotterdam took place, where top riders from all over the world came together. Jorinde took part in the event with her talented horse Charmer (by Charmeur), representing Team Belgium in the exciting Nations Cup.

On Thursday, Jorinde and Charmer had too many costly mistakes in the test, which eventually resulted in a score of 66.8%. On Saturday the combination was in much better shape and Jorinde and Charmer achieved success in the freestyle, where they achieved the highest score within Team Belgium. With an impressive score of 75.195% they achieved a well-deserved eighth place. This excellent performance made a significant contribution to the Nations Cup overall standings.

Team Belgium, consisting of Flore de Winne with Flynn, Lore Vandeborne with Ikke-Pia v/d Bergerhoeve, and Amandine Prevost with Quarterdance, showed exceptional teamwork and determination throughout the competition. With their combined efforts, they achieved an impressive fifth place in the final standings of the Nations Cup.

Congratulations to Jorinde and Team Belgium on their remarkable performance at CHIO Rotterdam, proof of their talent and dedication to equestrian sports!

Fantastic performances by Jorinde Verwimp and her talented students at CDN Zandhoven!

Jorinde and Ruut shone last weekend in the 5-year-old class. Although Jorinde and No Surrender were a bit tense, they still managed a solid 7th place with an impressive score of 76.2%. It was Nixon who stole the show and took second place with a score of 83.6%.

Ruut Pasgang took the reins from Virano and showed a brilliant test. He achieved an honorable third place, just behind Jorinde, with a score of 81.8%. It was an exciting battle and they certainly asserted themselves.

In the Prix St. Georges it was the talented Eline Borrey de Coninck, a student of none other than Wim Verwimp, who claimed victory with her horse Dollars. They achieved a wonderful score of 70.2%. An outstanding achievement that reflects their hard work and dedication.

The U25 Grand Prix was also a celebratory affair, with Laura Luyten and J2L Lamborghini claiming victory with a score of 69.8%. They showed incredible harmony and technical skills that propelled them to the top of the leaderboard.

Congratulations to Jorinde Verwimp, her students and all other riders who participated in CDN Zandhoven.

Dressuurstal Verwimp looks back on a successful edition of the Belgian Championship

From 24 to 28 May, the Belgian Championship was held at the location of the Azelhof in Lier. Jorinde and the students of Dressuurstal Verwimp were represented at this beautiful annual event. Below is an overview of the best scores.

1st place in the Diamond Cup Level 4.2 with Rose Belle with a score of 70.906%.

5th place in the Diamond Cup Level 4 freestyle with Rose Belle with a score of 72.065%

Jorinde took the Silver medal in the overall classification.

Jorinde and student Ruut Pasgang shine at CDN Laakdal

CDN Laakdal took place last weekend. The 5-year competition took place on Saturday. Jorinde scored 81.40% with Nixon and with No Surrender she had a score of 81.20%. Student Ruut rode her Virano in the 5-year-old class and scored 81.40%.

In level 4.3 Jorinde rode Rose Belle on Sunday and achieved a nice 1st place with 69.4%. Ruut rode her James in the Inter 1 and achieved a nice 4th place with 68.80%.

In the Prix St George Eline Borrey De Coninck, Wim’s student, rode along. She won the test with her Haressel with 71.47%. She placed 7th with Dollars with a score of 68.01%.

Team Verwimp shines during CDN Dentergem!

Last Sunday Jorinde started with No Surrender (Charmeur X Rousseau) in the 5-year-olds FEI Preliminary, she achieved a score of 81% and came in 3rd place. Wim Verwimp took part with Sensation Van De Wimpelhoeve (by For Romance), with a beautiful score of 82.4% he took 1st place. Ruut Pasgang, a student of Jorinde, took part with Virano (v. Vitalis) and became 2nd with a score of 82%. Great to see that “Team Verwimp” has taken over the entire top 3.

Jorinde rode Eros Krack v/h Klaverhof (by Easy Game) in the 6-year-olds FEI Preliminary, although they had a good start, their score dropped to 76.4% due to a mistake in the canter.

Jorinde in action during CDN Turnhout

Last weekend was CDN Turnhout, where Jorinde rode several horses. Rose Belle did her best on level 4.3, with a score of 67.879% she came in 6th place. With Eros Krack v/h Klaverhof (by Easy Game) she scored 66.212% in this test due to some tension of the 6-year-old gelding.

Jorinde rode in the Prix with Golddream vd Kempenhoeve (by Jazz). St. Georges, with a score of 70.294%, she came in second place.

Wim Verwimp also took part in the Prix. St. Georges with Escobar (by Serano Gold) he achieved a score of 67.280%.

Personal record for Jorinde and Charmer during The Dutch Masters

The Dutch Masters, Indoorbrabant Horse Show, ‘s-Hertogenbosch took place from 9 to 12 March. Jorinde has participated in several competitions at this international top sport event with her two horses Charmer (by Chameur) and New Berry Z (by Negro). With Charmer (by Charmeur) she scored 69.413% in the Grand Prix. Jorinde and Charmer (by Charmeur) also rode in the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI3*, with a nice round she achieved a personal record of 75.145% and came in 6th place.

Jorinde took part in the CDI1* Prix St. Georges and the Intermediaire I CDI1* with New Berry Z (by Negro). A good first experience at a major event for the 8-year-old gelding, with the additional comments from the jury, there is certainly a lot of potential for New Berry Z.

A great week for Jorinde at CDI Lier!

CDI Lier took place from February 28 to March 5, organized by the team of Belgium Dressage Event including Wim Verwimp. Jorinde took part in the Intermediate I Freestyle to Music with Golddream v/d Kempenhoeve (by Jazz) and achieved a score of 73.600%, placing her in third place

With River Rise Benneton (by Benneton Dream FRH) she achieved a score of 68.912% in the Prix. St. Georges and 67.059% in the Inter 1.
